Advocating for the Arts and Culture in the U.S. Virgin Islands: October is National Arts and Humanities Month

Artvi Advocates is a grassroots organization of energetic and innovative art advocates who have a keen interest in furthering the cause of arts and cultural advocacy in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Its mission is to support and promote the arts in order to enhance the cultural, social and economic wellbeing of the Virgin Islands through arts education and advocacy.

Artvi goals are (1) to provide an effective and unified voice for the arts community of the Virgin Islands and (2) to educate our community, V.I. legislators and policy makers on the need for continued and expanded support of the arts and culture in the Virgin Islands. Artvi believes strongly that resources directed at organizations and activities which enhance and contribute to the educational, artistic and cultural welfare of the citizens of the Virgin Islands constitute a real social and economic investment in the future of our territory.
